Letter's from our patients......
I am a patient currently in my 6 month of treatment here at Back to Basics and am very pleased with my rehabilitation. I am grateful and thankful to the entire Back to Basics staff as to how much better I feel and for giving me my life back (literally) after years of chronic pain and fatigue....but, this letter, is so not about me.
In conversation, I mentioned to Dr. Duff that my 3 year old daughter has never slept through the night. He suggested bringing her in as a patient. I was skeptical. Dr. Duff took the time to explain the benefits of chiropractic for children and I was convinced. After her very first adjustment, my daughter slept through the night and has ever since! I have noticed a dramitic improvement in her eating, her mood and her ability to focus is just unbelievable! She also has a lot more POSITIVE energy. In addition to that, her health is better than ever! She was always perfect to me, but now, she is so well balanced!
I have seen this happen with my own eyes on my very own daughter - I would recommend chiropractic for children to all with the utmost confidence that your child will only benefit!
Treatment for me and my daughter has made a tremendous difference in my life! I had to share my story!

March 29th I very slowly walked into Back To Basics with the help of a walking cane. My body racked in pain and I was very heavily sedated on various pain medications that were prescribed by my GP. The medication only covered some of the pain but the medication made my stomach upset. It was very difficult to walk without pain. It was a struggle to sit and rise. I had pain in my back and pain shooting down my right leg. It was very difficult to bend over for fear of pain. It was also difficult to raise my leg more than 2 inches off the floor without pain. I could not put on my right shoe and sock without assistance. Since I have been a patient of Back To Basics I can very happily say there is no pain in my back. The pain in my right leg is minimal and I can now raise my right leg to my left knee. I am so grateful to Dr. Nakis and his entire team, for it all feels like a second chance on life. To Mitzi who is always pleasant and helpful, no matter what the situation. To Dr. Duff who is wonderful. He is always concerned with what is going on with my progress. He makes sure he explains every procedure in detail and makes sure I understand how everything is relative to my body. To all the therapists that work there, and to Veronica, a very special young woman that actually worked with my leg to a point I could not believe. Now I can move my leg. I am so grateful to this entire team. I cannot find the words to thank you!
